Answer:

A daughter looks different from both her mother and her father.

Explanation:

Meiosis is a type of cell division which occurs only in sex cells (germ cells) which are specialized cells present in only sex organs (gonads). So, meiosis can only occur in those organisms which have sex organs and reproduce sexually. Meiosis is a type of cell division which is meant for generating variations among individuals in a population. Because of variations, the off springs are neither exactly like their mother nor father. These variations occur because of a process known as crossing over in which exchange of DNA between homologous chromosomes of parents occur during prophase & metaphase of meiosis I. As a result of exchange of DNA segments, the progeny gets genetic material which is a blend of parental genetic material so the off spring is not exact replica of either of the two parents.

aivan3 [116]

When the nurse has observed of a patient who runs a ventricular tachycardia, it would likely show that their no presence of P waves, there is a wide QRS complex in the monitor and the rate would range between 100 to 250, if all manifest this in the monitor, it is likely that the patient has ventricular tachycardia. The medication that the nurse should give to the client who has exhibit this should have an anti-dysrhythmic drugs, that is important in the first line of treatment. Drugs of these kind include, lidocaine, procainamide and even amiodarone. If there is a need to correct the rhythm, it is likely that cardioversion is given as a treatment.

Northern flickers are woodpeckers of the eastern United States. Males, but not females, have black feathers that resemble a mous
jek_recluse [69]

Answer:

This suggests that the moustache is a releaser for aggression.

Explanation:

Fixed action patterns are instinctive programmed responses in different species that are triggered by a specific external sensory stimulus. These stimuli are called sign stimuli or releaser. When the sign occurs, the animal starts a sequence of acts in response to the stimulus and continuous until the series of actions is completed.

The black feathers resembling a mustache in a Northern flickers male are an external sensory stimulus. This trait that can provoke another male to respond aggressively, as a fixed action pattern.

This trait might be considered as an unconditioned stimulus, which provokes an unlearned or reflex reaction. These aggressive responses are triggered by reflex.

What are the components of adenosine triphosphate (ATP)?
romanna [79]

At the centre is a sugar molecule, ribose (the same sugar that forms the basis of RNA). Attached to one side of this is a base (a group consisting of linked rings of carbon and nitrogen atoms); in this case the base is adenine. The other side of the sugar is attached to a string of phosphate groups. These phosphates are the key to the activity of ATP.
