Volume of sphere formula is:

V = 4/3 Pi r^3
It just is - you have to remember that.

We don't have radius, we have diameter.  Radius is just half the diameter - so 7cm

V = 4/3 Pi (7)^3

V = 4/3 (3.14) (343)

V = 1436 cm^3  - remember its centimeters cubed because we are working with volume

(Variables on both sides of an equation)
kompoz [17]
Start by expanding the left side of the equation: -2(4x-7) is equal to -8x + 14.

This brings you to -8x+14 = -8x + 14.

Now add 8x to both sides. This brings you to 14 = 14

Now subtract 14 from both sides. This brings you to 0 = 0.

Thus your answer is 0 = 0, which is a true statement.

Hope this helps.

Answer:

360\ cm^2

Step-by-step explanation:

<u>Step 1:  Determine the area of the bottom rectangle</u>

A = l * w

A = 10\ cm * 12\ cm

A = 120\ cm^2

<u>Step 2:  Determine the area of the back rectangle</u>

A = l * w

A = 10\ cm * 5\ cm

A = 50\ cm^2

<u>Step 3:  Determine the area of the top rectangle</u>

A = l * w

A = 10\ cm * 13\ cm

A = 130\ cm^2

<u>Step 4:  Determine the area of the triangle</u>

A = \frac{h*b}{2}

A = \frac{5\ cm * 12\ cm}{2}

A = \frac{60\ cm^2}{2}

A = 30\ cm^2

<u>Step 5:  Determine the surface area</u>

120\ cm^2 + 50\ cm^2 + 130\ cm^2 + 2(30\ cm^2)

360\ cm^2

Answer: 360\ cm^2

On average 83.1% of welds performed by a particular welder are defective. if, in one day, the welder creates three welds. what i
Nuetrik [128]
Let p be 0.831 denote the percentage of defective welds and q be 0.169 denote the percentage of non-defective welds.

Using the binomial distribution, we want all three to be defective.
P(X = 3) = \binom{3}{3}(p)^{3}{q}^{3 - 3}
P(X = 3) = \binom{3}{3}(0.831)^{3}(1)
P(X = 3) = (0.831)^{3} \approx 0.573856191

In △CDE , CD=12 , DE=5 , and m∠E=83∘ .<br><br> What is m∠D to the nearest tenth of a degree?
mr_godi [17]

Answer:

As law of sin:

CD/sinE = DE/sinC

Then

12/sin83 = 5/sinC

Then

sinC = 5*sin83/12 = 0.413

Then

C = arcsin(0.413) = ~24.4 deg

Then

D = 180-C-E = 180-83-24.4 = ~72.6

Hope this help, bro!

I don't know how to simplify
In-s [12.5K]
(5-2/x)/4-3/x^2

after simplifying these
(5x-2)/x(4x^2-3)/x^2
x(5x-2)/(4x^2-3)
5x^2-2x/4x^2-3

now u can solve it
