Time taken by Diana to finish her project is 5 1/3 hours
Gabe took 1 1/4 times as long as Diana, therefore Gabes time will be:
1 1/4 × 5 1/3
=5/4 × 16/3
=20/3
=6 2/3 hours

Paula took 3/4 times as long as Diana, therefore time taken by Paula will be:
3/4 × 16/3
=4 hours

A carton has a length of 1 2/3 feet, width of 1 1/6 feet, and height of 1 1/5 feet. What is the volume of the carton?
kvv77 [185]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Volume= (length)(width)(height)

step 1: make sure all the measurements have the same unit (ft)

step 2: convert mixed fractions to improper fractions

1 2/3= 5/3         1 1/6= 7/6        1 1/5 = 6/5

multiply the length by width and height

(5/3)(7/6)(6/5)

=7/3 ft^3
