To answer this question you need to know how to find the volume of a trapezoidal prism. You multiply the area of a trapezoid by the height of the prism. To begin answering this, you can start with 2 different factors of 120. I chose 4 and 6.

If the height of one trapezoid is 4, the area would need to be 30. I wrote out the formula for area of a trapezoid (h (b1+b2)/2) and solved for 30. I multiplied both sides by 2 and saw that I needed a 60 from the sun of my 2 bases and the height of the trapezoid base. I used 2 for the height and 20 and 10 as the 2 bases.

For the second trapezoid, I used 6 as the height of the prism. This left me with 20 as the area. I used the same formula above and found that I needed to get 40. I used 5 as the height of the trapezoid and 1 and 7 as the two base lengths. Hope this helps!!

Answer:

 • x = - 9

Step-by-step explanation:

In order to find the vertical asymptotes make the denominator equal to zero and solve:

 • 2x + 18 = 0
 • 2x = - 18
 • x = - 9

There is one vertical asymptote since the denominator is linear expression

(1, 4); slope = -2 write the linear equation in slope intercept form given
jeka57 [31]

Answer:

y=-2x+2

Step-by-step explanation:

The slope is -2x, meaning that the y-intercept can be found by working backwards from the given point. If the y value of the point is 4, subtracting 2 to get you to the point (0, 2) would provide the y-intercept.

Slope Intercept form is y=mx+b (m is the slope, x is the entered value, b is the y intercept)

Answer:

The next three terms of the sequence are 17, 21 and 25.

The 300th term of the sequence is 1197.

Step-by-step explanation:

The statement describes an arithmetic progression, which is defined by following formula:

p(n) = p_{1}+r\cdot (n-1) (1)

Where:

p_{1} - First element of the sequence.

r - Progression rate.

n - Index of the n-th element of the sequence.

p(n) - n-th element of the series.

If we know that p_{1} = 1, n = 2 and p(n) = 5, then the progression rate is:

r = \frac{p(n)-p_{1}}{n-1}

r = 4

The set of elements of the series are described by p(n) = 1 + 4\cdot (n-1).

Lastly, if we know that n = 300, then the 300th term of the sequence is:

p(n) = 1 + 4\cdot (n-1)

p(n) = 1197

And the next three terms of the sequence are:

n = 5

p(n) = 1 + 4\cdot (n-1)

p(n) = 17

n = 6

p(n) = 1 + 4\cdot (n-1)

p(n) = 21

n = 7

p(n) = 1 + 4\cdot (n-1)

p(n) = 25

The next three terms of the sequence are 17, 21 and 25.

The 300th term of the sequence is 1197.
