Mathematics

5 0

Answer:

1. : 4

2. : 15

Step-by-step explanation:

Factors for 20: 1, 2, 4, 5, 10, 20

Factors for 32: 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32

Looking at the factors, we can see that the largest factor 20 and 32 have in common is 4. The answer isn't 1 or 2 because we are looking for the greatest common factor. This means we are looking for the largest of the factors which they both share.

Factors of 45: 1 , 3 , 5 , 9 , 15 , and 45.

Factors of 75: 1 , 3 , 5 , 15 , 25 and 75

Looking at these factors, we can see that 15 is the largest factor that 45 and 75 both share. The answer is not 1, 3, or 5 because we are again looking for the GREATEST common factor.

If my answers and explanations helped. Please say thanks! It means a lot to know my work is helping others achieve their academic goals. If you learned something from this, tell me! If you have any further questions, please comment and ask!

Part 3
please help

aleksandr82 [10.1K]

I'm taking "part 3" to mean the 3rd of the posted questions.

If f(x)=(x^3+2x)\ln x, then

f'(x)=(x^3+2x)'\ln x+(x^3+2x)(\ln x)'=(3x^2+2)\ln x+\dfrac{x^3+2x}x

\implies f'(x)=(3x^2+2)\ln x+x^2+2

Then when x=1, we get f'(1)=3.
