(3,6)    (5,3)
(x1,y1)(x2,y2)

The slope equation is: y2-y1
                                 ---------
                                  x2-x1

Replace with numbers: 3-6/5-3

Minus 3 and 6 is equal to -3

Minus 5-3 is 2

So the fraction is -3/2 (no need to divide because you can't simplify it)

So the slope is -3/2

For the equation you have to replace the letters by 0's

3×0-2y=6
Times 3 and 0
0-2y=6
Now you want to get the y alone, so minus 0 from both sides
   0-2y=6
  -0      -0

-2y=6

Divide -2y from the 6

-2y=6
----  ---
  -2   -2

y=3

The y intercept is 3 with the slope of -3/2

There are two conditions under which we can assume that the sample means follow a normal distribution. What are they
Naddik [55]

Two conditions under which we can assume that the sample means follow a normal distribution are as follows:

1). If the sample size is large enough, n greater than or equals 30, the sampling distribution is approximately normal regardless of the shape of the population.

2). In order to be considered a normal distribution, a data set (when graphed) must follow a bell-shaped symmetrical curve centered around the mean.

QUESTION IN PIC- 20 POINTS
sladkih [1.3K]

Answer:

  18 terms

Step-by-step explanation:

The first given sequence has first term a1=2 and common difference d=5. Its explicit formula is ...

  an = 2 +5(n -1) = 5n -3

We want the n-th term of this sequence to be the same as the n-th term of the sequence defined by ...

  an = 4n +15

We can find n that makes this true by setting the 'an' values equal:

  an = an

  5n -3 = 4n +15

  n = 18 . . . . . . . . . . add 3-4n

The number of terms in each sequence is 18.

_____

Additional comment

The last term in each sequence is 87.
