Answer:

soldier : war

Explanation:

The word "foment" means "to encourage", so we can conclude that to initiate a rebellion is necessary the "foment". For this reason, the words "foment" and "rebellion" establish a relationship represented as "foment: rebellion". To complete the diagram, we need to find two words that have a similar relationship.

In the same way that to initiate a rebellion it is necessary that this rebellion is fomented, to initiate a war soldiers are necessary. For this reason, the most appropriate pair of words to complete the diagram is "soldiers: war".

The other options do not establish the same kind of relationship that "foment: rebellion" .

Can you imagine how difficult it would be to communicate with someone it we
KiRa [710]

Answer:

I don't know if you're asking us how difficult it would be or if this is an actual question for a school assignment, but yeah. A lot of communication is conveyed through facial expressions, body language, eye contact, gestures, and more, so to only communicate by talking would be pretty challenging. Luckily, we'd still be able to fluctuate our tone of voice, but having a blank, emotionless face without us being able to move our shoulders or use our hands would take time getting used to.

In Invention of Love, what do the man's actions of throwing out the rose and putting a mechanical flower in its place foreshadow
ZanzabumX [31]
The correct answer is A.

The death of the rose foreshadows the death of the wife; the replacement of the rose with a mechanical one also foreshadows the mechanical wife he will build in her place.

Unfortunately, the result is the same -- machines are not a true replacement for the real world, and the man cannot replace his love with a machine.
