Two compound samples are composed of the same elements but in different proportion, it means the two samples are two different compounds.

Because there are many compound which consist of same elements. for example water and hydrogen peroxide are two different compounds but these compounds consist if same elements, hydrogen and oxygen;

H₂O consist of hydrogen and oxygen and it is water
H₂O₂ also consist of hydrogen and oxygen but it is hydrogen peroxide
So, both are different compounds

What volume of DI water, in mL, must you use to dissolve 30.0 g of NaOH in order to make a 1.25 M solution? mL (round to whole n
jeka57 [31]

Answer:

600mL

Explanation:

Molarity of a solution (M) = number of moles (n) ÷ volume (V)

number of moles = mass/molar mass

Molar mass of NaOH = 23 + 16 + 1

= 40g/mol

mole = 30/40

n of NaOH = 0.75mol

Using Molarity = n/V

V = number of moles ÷ molarity

V = 0.75 ÷ 1.25

V = 0.6L

In milliliters (mL), the volume of NaOH will be 0.6 × 1000

= 600mL

As you move down group one of the periodic table, what happens to the atomic radii? They increase, because of the higher number
Dennis_Churaev [7]

The correct answer is the atomic radius increase because of the higher number of occupied energy levels.

Atomic radius increases when going down a group. The valence electrons hold the higher levels because of the enhancing quantum number (n). As a consequence, the valence electrons get further away from the nucleus with the increase in n. The electron shielding inhibits these outer electrons from getting fascinated towards the nucleus. Therefore, they are held, and the resulting atomic radius is greater.

Which best includes elements with the most similar chemical properties?
sasho [114]
Usually, elements with more similar properties share the same column on the periodic table.
Therefore, if you look at the periodic table, you can see that Oxygen, Sulfur, and Selenium all share the same column. Therefore, they all have similar properties

Answer: #3 ( O, S, Se )

Hope this helped!!! :D
