This increases blood sugar level and insulin is released from pancreas. insulin send glucose from blood to cell where it is used for energy.

if there is excess sugar, it is stored as body fatty liver. it also increases  triglycerides.

excess sugar can cause type 2 diabetes because of the effect fructose has on the liver, like increasing fatty liver and localized insulin resistance.
