Advancements made in trans-genetic or transgenic animals.

Explanation:

Transgenic animal involves incorporation of exogenous genes into the genome of an animal by genetic engineering. These genes will be inherited and expressed as the desired phenotype in the offspring produced.

A successful transgenic engineering is based on the successful transport of the DNA (to be transferred) first through the plasma membrane of the recipient’s cell and then once inside the cell, it has to pass through the nuclear membrane to reach the chromosomes present in it.

To overcome this factor, a number of latest technologies have been advanced in engineering transgenic animals like:

  1. Microinjection
  2. Chemically mediation
  3. Somatic cell transfer
  4. Restriction enzyme mediation
  5. Retrovirus mediated gene  transfer
  6. Sperm mediated gene transfer
  7. Embryonic stem cell mediated gene transfer

Advanced transgenic technology is exclusively useful in drug and disease prevention research.

In animal husbandry, these advancements are used to produce livestock with enhanced nutrition, milk production, growth rate, carcass production, disease resistance, health, reproductive performance or fertility, fecundity, hair and fiber as well as reduce environmental hazards.

Answer: Many advances have been made in transgenetic animals like observing gene function, organ transplantation and advancement of medical sciences.

<u>Explanation:</u>

Transgenetic animals are those whose genes are modified. This is done for various purposes. This is done to increase yield or to increase resistance to disease.

Recently many advances have been made in transgenetic animals. New techniques have been developed. these techniques help in producing a new variety of animals. It has developed medical science. These new technologies can observe gene function, help in organ transplantation and understanding animal diseases.

I believe the answer is <span>Hearing</span>

Temporal lobes are a major lobe of the cerebrum that located in the middle lower, between the frontal lobe and occipital lobe, below the parietal lobe. The main function of this lobe is to process the information that related to the sensory input of auditory, emotion, language and visual memory. Hearing/auditory problem would be the easiest sign to recognize.

A woman who is a carrier for #1 hemophilia and a man that does not have the
Dimas [21]

Answer:

Explanation:

A woman who is a carrier for #1 hemophilia and a man that does not have the condition have children. What is the probability that they will have a child with the condition being studied? What is the gender of that child?

if the baby gets the Y chromosome from the father it will be a boy. If the boy gets his mother's X chromosome with the hemophilia gene he will have hemophilia. If he inherits his mother's other X chromosome, he will have normal blood clotting. If the baby gets the X chromosome from the father it will be a girl.

#4 A woman that is heterozygous for type A blood and a man that is heterozygous for type B blood have children. What are the possible blood types of their children?

One parent with A and another with B can produce a child with A, B, AB or O blood types.

#5 Two people are both unknowingly carriers for the cystic fibrosis gene. What is the probability that they will have children with cystic fibrosis?

If both parents are carriers there is a 1 in 4 (25 percent) chance that both will pass on the non-functioning gene, which would result in a pregnancy affected with cystic fibrosis.

#3 A woman that is heterozygous for Huntington's disease and a man that does not have the condition have children . What is the probability that their children inherit the Huntington's gene ?

Huntington's disease (HD) is what is called a dominant genetic disease. What this usually means is that a child only has a chance of getting a disease like this if a parent has it too. But parents without HD can have a child with HD. This is true of any dominant genetic disease
