IceJOKER [234]

Answer:

The power source is called a "Multi-Mission Radioisotope Thermoelectric Generator" or MMRTG for short. The MMRTG converts heat from the natural radioactive decay of plutonium into electricity. This power system charges the rover's two primary batteries. The heat from the MMRTG is also used to keep the rover's tools and systems at their correct operating temperatures.

Brrunno [24]

Answer:

Erosion: is the geological process in which earthen materials are worn away and transported by natural forces such as wind or water. A similar process, weathering, breaks down or dissolves rock, but does not involve movement.Erosion is the opposite of deposition, the geological process in which earthen materials are deposited, or built up, on a landform. Most erosion is performed by liquid water, wind, or ice . Liquid water is the major agent of erosion on Earth. Rain, rivers, floods, lakes, and the ocean carry away bits of soil and sand and slowly wash away the sediment.

Public domains:VegetationThe simplest and most natural way toprevent erosion is through planting vegetation. Plants establish root systems, which stabilizes soiland prevents soil erosion. Geotextiles: Using geotextiles is an effective method because it also stabilizes soi .

People placing sandbags along the shore of a river:

The use of sandbags is a simple, but effective way to prevent or reduce floodwater damage. Properly filled and placed sandbags can act as a barrier to divert moving water around, instead of through, buildings. ... Tied sandbags are generally easier to handle and stockpile.

Through the course of evolution, plants have developed smaller gametophytes and larger sporophytes. Study the list of plants. Th
Lapatulllka [165]

Ans.

Gametophyte shows haploid, gamete-forming stage of plant's life cycle, while sporophyte shows diploid, spore-forming stage of plant's life cycle. In green algae, gametophytes and sporophytes are isomorphic (indistinguishable). In bryophytes, such as mosses, gametophyte shows dominant stage as it is most visible stage in their life-cycle. In vascular plants, such as ferns and seed plants, sporophytes show dominant stage.

Thus, 'seed plants show briefest gametophyte stage' and 'mosses show longest gametophyte stage.'
