Observations on how attitudes about African Americans would affect people’s willingness to vote for Barack Obama in 2008 reveale
nadya68 [22]

Answer:

1. less;

2. implicit;

3. explicit

Explanation:

The Implicit Association Test (IAT) is a form of testing or research technique, that seek to measure the level of relationship between concepts and evaluations or stereotype. For example, races and performance.

Also, various research studies, have shown that Implicit Association Test is a better predictor of subsequent behavior than explicit responses.

Hence, in this case, people who reported low levels of prejudice but whose scores on the Implicit Association Test (IAT) indicated negative attitudes about blacks were LESS likely to vote for Obama because IMPLICIT attitudes were better predictors of behavior than EXPLICIT attitudes.

Identify the constitutional provision that is common in both Milliken v. Bradley (1974) and Brown v. Board of Education (I) (195
Anvisha [2.4K]

Answer:

The cases were about racial segregation.

Explanation:

Brown v. Board of Education(1954) was a Supreme Court case which ruled that children's racial segregation in government's schools was illegal. The decision by the Supreme court showed that everyone is equal despite their colour or religion.

Milliken v. Bradley(1974) was a Supreme Court case in the United States regarding the outlined desegregation of busing among public school students in Detroit. There was a plan to blend students of different races in United States public schools following the decision made in Brown v. Board of Education (1954). The decision was the opposite of the decision made in Brown v. Board of Education as segregation was encouraged.

The court refused to remedy unequal and separate education. Children need to learn together and understand each other. I believe voters who disagreed with the ruling could have made a peaceful protest regarding the decision made. Also, since the public schools were mainly funded by taxes, the people who opposed the decision could have refused to pay tax in order to voice their opinions on the issues.

Which two physicians recognized that humans could transfer infection to each other, leading joseph lister to develop his aseptic
Vika [28.1K]

The two physicians recognized that humans could transfer infection to each other, leading joseph lister to develop his aseptic techniques were Holmes and Semmelweis.

Who were Holmes and Semmelweis?

IN century in Europe and America, a large number of young ladies kicked the bucket from childbed fever, otherwise called puerperal fever, a sickness wild in the foundation maternity facilities of the time.

Two legends in the battle against puerperal fever were Oliver Wendell Holmes and Ignaz Philipp Semmelweis. In the event that Holmes presently remains in Semmelweis' shadow, it is on the grounds that Holmes' own clinical standing was to a great extent overshadowed by the splendid achievement he accomplished in the fields of writing, verse, and well known addresses.

In the late nineteenth and mid 20th hundreds of years, Holmes' artistic and graceful works were reproduced in many releases by American and British distributers. Indeed, even his own calling came to esteem him more as a teacher and writer than as a courageous and straightforward protector of the life and soundness of childbearing ladies.

Therefore Holmes and Semmelweis were the two Physicians.
