Scientists believe that most animals survived the 2004 Asian Tsunami because they had perceived its coming and they prepared for it. It is believed that animals can hear and perceive infrasonic sound and Rayleigh waves which are usually the warming signs of a coming tsunami. Scientists believed that the animals felt the shaking of the ground as a result of the Rayleigh waves and hear the infrasonic sounds which can not be heard by humans. This makes the animals to flee to higher grounds [above sea level] for safety.

A car is moving at a initial velocity of 20 meters per second accelerates at a rate of 1.5 meters per second squared for 4 secon
Brrunno [24]
Answered using calculus.
Antidifferentiated the acceleration to get velocity. Added variable c as we do not know if there was an extra number there yet.
Knowing that when time is 0, the velocity is 20, we can substitute those numbers into the equation and find that c = 20.
Now we have full velocity equation: v = 1.5t + 20
Now we substitute 4 into t to find out the velocity after 4 seconds. This gives us the final answer of 26m/s

Gre4nikov [31]

Since the direction of the needle depends on the proximity of the magnet thus this test alone is insufficient to determine the stronger magnet.

What is a magnetic field?

A magnetic field refers to the region where the effect of a magnet is felt. The magnetic field can be observed by the use of a compass.

Now, we know that the closer the magnet is to the compass, the greater the deflection hence this test alone is insufficient to determine the stronger magnet.
