The slope of the line is 9/4 for parallel lines like this.
y = mx + b is the general equation
y = 9/4 x + b is what you have so far
3 = 9/4 *25 + b You need to solve for b.
3 = 56.25 + b
- 53.25 = b

y = 9/4 x - 53.25 I don't know which part to round. I suppose both
y = 2x - 53 is one possibility If it is one of them then

y = 2.25 x - 53 or the other is
y = 2 x - 53.25

3 = 3/4(b - 8)
Switch sides
3/4(b - 8) = 3
Next, multiply both sides by 4
4 * 3/4(b - 8) = 3 * 4
Then simplify,
3(b - 8) = 12
Next, divide both sides by 3
3(b - 8)/3 = 12/3
Then, simplify
b - 8 = 4
Then, add 8 to both sides
b - 8 + 8 = 4 + 8
Simplify, b = 12

1) We are given points on the line of the graph (0,3) and (1,1).

Rise/run represents the slope of the line.

Rise/run = -2/1 = -2.

Therefore, slope of the line is -2.

Correct option is A) -2 .

2) Given equation y=7.5x-5.

From the graph we can see that line crosses x-axis at 0.667.

But we don't find any such option.

But we can see line crossing y-axis is -5.

It seems that we need to find the point where line cut y-axis.

Therefore, correct option is C option.

C) - 5
