The employer's contribution is the total cost of the plan minus what Melissa pays, which can be found by subtracting Melissa's contribution from the total cost of the plan.  So, the employer's monthly contribution to the total cost of the plan is $475-$85=$390.Therefore, over the course of one year, the employer would contribute $390*12=$4680.

So the equation I get judging by the question is (475+85)x. X being months.
The annual amount should be (475+85)12. The answer you get should be $6720

Answer: 47.4 yds.

So, if this is a right triangle then you will have a hypotenuse, opposite Leg, and the adjacent. I get it that the first Leg is X an the other is 40 and the hypotenuse is 62.

C=62

A=40

B= X

We gonna use the Pythagorean theorem to solve this problem

C^2=a^2+b^2

62^2=40^2+x^2

x^2 = (62^2) -(40^2)

x^2= 3844-1600

x^2= 2244

x= 47.3708771293

Interpret the slope based on the chart.
bogdanovich [222]

Answer:

b. For 100 additional burglaries in California one expects to see an increase of about 3 burglaries in Hawaii.

Step-by-step explanation:

The slope gives the increase in the independent variable per unit increase in the dependent variable. Hence, a reasonable interpretation for the slope would be ;

the rate of change in the number of burglaries in Hawaii per 100 unit change in number of burglaries in California is 3.

Hence, for 100 additional burglaries in California, the rate of change in the number of burglaries in Hawaii is 3.
