There are 18 bulls and 45 cows, 4 will be added to both of those meaanningg:

18 + 4 = 22

45 + 4 = 49

Since its asking the ratio bulls to cows it would be:

22:49

If it was asking cows to bulls the ratio would be:

49:22

The coordinates of 3 of the vertices of a parallelogram are (-7,3) (-6,1) and (-4,5) what is the equation for the line containin
ExtremeBDS [4]

The first two vertices are (-7,3) (-6,1)

Slope = (3 - 1)/(-7 + 6) = -2

Opposite side of the first two vertices so the lines are parallel.

Parallel lines, slope is the same so slope is also -2

Passing thru (-4,5)

y = mx + b

b = y - mx

b = 5 - (-2)(-4)

b = 1 - 8

b = -7

Equation:

y = -2x - 7

Hope it helps.

Suppose you have a sample of size 42 with a mean of 30 and a population standard deviation of 7.4. What is the maximal margin of
9966 [12]

Answer:

The maximal margin of error associated with a 95% confidence interval for the true population mean is 2.238.

Step-by-step explanation:

We have given,

The sample size n=42

The sample mean \bar{x}=30

The population standard deviation \sigma=7.4

Let \alpha be the level of significance = 0.05

Using the z-distribution table,

The critical value at 5% level of significance and two tailed z-distribution is

\pm z_{\frac{0.05}{2}}=\pm 1.96

The value of margin of error is

ME=z_{\alpha/2}(\frac{\sigma}{\sqrt{n}})

ME=1.96(\frac{7.4}{\sqrt{42}})

ME=1.96(1.1418)

ME=2.238

The maximal margin of error associated with a 95% confidence interval for the true population mean is 2.238.
