Perpendicular intersect at a 90 degree angle, those do not.

From the given map, as we can see that the Birch street is a horizontal line, so the slop of the Birch street is 0. So for the Elm street to be perpendicular to Birch street, it must have an undefined slope, that is a vertical line. but from the map we can see that the slope of the Elm street is not as a slope of a vertical line.Hence the Birch street and Elm street are not perpendicular

The angles of a rectangle are equal.
always
sometimes
never
worty [1.4K]

Answer: A rectangles angles are always equal.

Step-by-step explanation:

Suppose you have a rectangle, four sides, two pairs of parallel lines. in order to be a rectangle, the quadrilateral has to have equal angles, similar to a square, if they didn't, they could be a trapezoid, which is not a rectangle, because it only has one pair of parallel lines.

Hope this helps!
