How did the scientific method change the way people learned about the natural world
seraphim [82]
The scientific method introduced a regular, systematic, reproducible investigation rather than opportunistic one. The hypothesis had to be clearly stated, which limited the chance of making a mistake due to unclear statement of hypothesis, and the methods had to be explicit and rigorously followed.

In short, it made the study of the natural world more organized and reliable.

Which speaker would most likely support the government established by the Articles of Confederation?
Amanda [17]

The correct answer is "Speaker 2".

The centralization of power was a matter of much debate during the Constitutional Congress of 1777. During the elaboration of the draft that would become the United State's constitution, points like the checks and balances between powers and state representation came into question. A group of the members at the meeting supported a stronger federal government, while others supported a more decentralized one, limiting the power of the federal government by granting more attributions to the states.

What did dred scott base his claim freedom on?
djverab [1.8K]

Good afternoon!

Answer: Slavery was a point of contention in the United States since the country's founding. The disagreement intensified as the 1800s began. In 1820, the Missouri Compromise established a boundary that wouldn't allow new slave states above this line. Dred Scott had been taken by his owner to an area in which slavery had been made illegal because of the Missouri Compromise.

Have a great day!
