#3: "That fearful sound of fire and fire" -- conveys fear. It literally says the sound of fire is fearful.

Lines that Convey that the Speaker is a Woman of Deep Faith

#1.

She says her heart cries to God, and that these cries "strengthen her" when she is distressed. She then asks that God not leave her sucorless.

#4.

"You have a house on high" -- this is a metaphor for Heaven;
