Appert’s and Durand’s methods of preserving food helped people waste less food. However, Durand’s tin can was tougher than glass

. It made food more transportable because there wasn’t the fear of breaking of jars. Later on, aluminum cans were developed because they did not rust and were lighter. They, now, popularly hold beverages. Which of the following best summarizes the fourth paragraph? Question 1 options: After many years of experimentation, Nicolas Appert and Peter Durand worked out techniques together that helped people stop wasting food needlessly. Durand's tin-can preservation method made the transportation of food easier because of the tin's durability, and it also helped develop the aluminum can. Durand's tin cans were tougher than Appert's glass jars, and therefore, they were easier to carry and transport for many food companies. In many cases, aluminum cans held different kinds of beverages because they were considered to be lighter than tin and did not rust easily.

Sidana [21]

Emily Brent recites a nursery rhyme to Vera Claythorne, "be sure thy guilt will find thee out." This poem exposes her beliefs in that she believes they are all being punished for their acts because they all committed murder.

What is vera’s response to miss brent?

This narrative horrifies Vera, but Miss Brent feels no shame or sorrow. She claims that if Beatrice had acted like a "good modest young woman," none of this would have occurred. Vera is much more terrified now.

Vera and Brent are characters in which story?

Both Vera and Emily Brent are characters in the story "And There Were None" Agatha Christie.

Emily Brent, a 65-year-old lady in Agatha Christie's novel And Then There Were None, is stricken with such 'religious madness' that she has lost her sense of sympathy.
