Okay gotcha. i missed the three packs info. answer is option C

because 3 choclates cost 2.34 so one will cost 2.34/3 = .78

so cost willbbe given as

c = 0.78b

i missed the "three pack " info in first time. sorry

Which of the following is a solution of x2 − 10x = –36? negative 5 minus i square root of 10 5 plus i square root of 61 negative
Serga [27]
X^2 - 10x + 36 = 0;
We use the quadratic formula: x = ( - b + or - i\sqrt{ -b^{2}+4ac })/ (2a);
We have a = 1; b = -10; c = 36;
Then, x = ( 10 + or -i\sqrt{44})/2 = 5 + or - \sqrt{11})/2 ;

Identify the values of a, b, and c in this quadratic equation:
riadik2000 [5.3K]

Answer:

C

a = 1 : b=-8; C = 12

Step-by-step explanation:

I think you did not include the sign between the x^2 and the 8x...my guess is that it is a minus.

By process of elimination the answer is not B or D bc the a-value is 1 not 0.

Then the +12 you did include in the original question indicates that the c-value is 12 not -12 eliminating answer A.

How to find slope intercept form with one point and the slope?
andre [41]
Slope intercept form is y = mx + b...ur slope will be in the m position and ur y int will be in the b position

examples : slope = 2 , (1,3)....x = 1 and y = 3

y = mx + b
slope(m) = 2
(1,3)...x = 1 and y = 3
now we sub and find b, the y int
3 = 2(1) + b
3 = 2 + b
3 - 2 = b
1 = b

so in slope intercept form, ur equation is : y = 2x + 1
================
another example : slope = 3 , (-2,-4)

y = mx + b
slope(m) = 3
(-2,-4)...x = -2 and y = -4
now sub and find b, the y int
-4 = 3(-2) + b
-4 = - 6 + b
-4 + 6 = b
2 = b
so ur equation is : y = 3x + 2

What is the answer to this math problem
pishuonlain [190]

Answer:

Domain: c)

Range: d)

Step-by-step explanation:

The domain means all of the possible x-values. To find the domain, find the leftmost and rightmost value of x. They are 0 and 8.5.

The range means all of the possible y-values. To find the range, find the lowest and higher values for y. They are 0 and 12.5.

"All numbers" means x or y can be any number, decimal decimal numbers. "Whole numbers" mean x or y can only be numbers that don't have decimals.

Both x and y can be decimal numbers because the graph is not broken up. If it could only be whole numbers, the graph would be dots.
