The most powerful person (politically, not economically) in Germany now is its Chancellor (it is always the Chancellor), who at the moment is Angela Merkel. Merker is the head of the German government which is responsible for most of the functions of the country (but not for making laws).
With new technology like the internet communication has become faster, easier, and more efficient because of advances in technology. Cell phones, social networking websites, e-mail, and instant messaging are examples of technology which enable communication.
I believe the answer is A: negative self-talk. Because that usually leads to someone not doing their best.
