First convert them to vertex form

first one is y = 2(x + 0.75)^2 - 6.125

2nd is   y = -2(x - 0.75)^2 - 3.875

the -2  will cause  a reflection of the first equation in the x axis . then a translation  down  of 6.125 + 3.875 = 10 units , followed by
  a translation of  -0.75-0.75 = -1.5 units to the right = 1.5

Angle 1 is a complement of angle 2 and measure 2 equals 5 degrees find measure angle 1
ANTONII [103]

Angle one equals 85 because when an angle is a complement of another angle that means their degrees added together equal to 90 degrees. And so you just do 90-5=85 to get your answer.
