Answer:

The Burmese python is a native species to the tropics in South and Southeast Asia and introduced in Florida, U.S. as a pet. But the python can grow very long in length and people released them in the everglades.

Python became an invasive species in Florida which is harmful for native species. Python do not have any natural predator in Florida and its population is uncontrolled naturally.

Python are affecting flow of energy in everglades as because of no natural predators they grow large in size and numbers and that will lack food for other animals and predators.

Hence, when other organisms and predators will not get enough food, it will completely change the normal food chain of the ecosystem.

In considering the cross YyRr x YyRr, the genotype ratio is YYRR:2YYRr:2Yyrr:4YyRr:YYrr:2YyRR:yyRR:yyRr:yyrr. true fals
sdas [7]
False.

In a dihybrid cross, the expected ratio of genotypes is 1:2:1:2:4:2:1:2:1.
In this example the ratio is 1:2:2:4:1:2:1:1:1. So, this ratio is false. It is expected 1<span>YYRR : 2YYRr : 1Yyrr : 2YyRr : 4YYrr : 2YyRR : 1yyRR : 2yyRr : 1yyrr.</span>

Explain how a single base mutation can encode a protein that has many missing amino acids.
lutik1710 [3]

Answer:

Silent mutation: Some mutations that change DNA bases do not have any effect on the sequence of amino acids in the protein. These mutations are called silent mutations and they do not affect the structure or function of the protein because there is no effect on the amino acid sequence.
