Eukaryotes always have a cell membrane, but prokaryotes don't. Eukaryotic and Prokaryotic cells are both building blocks of life in different organisms. The main difference of two is in its structures. Eukaryotic cells contain organelles that are found inside membranes, like the nucleus, which stores chromosomes and DNA. Prokaryotic cells don't have a nucleus and no true chromosomes. Prokaryotic cells are unicellular while eukaryotes are multicellular. The presence of mitochondria, chloroplasts, and cell wall are all distinct to Eukaryotic cells. Eukaryotic cells are found in animals and plants, while bacteria and archaea have prokaryotic cells.<span>

Which reading is expected from a thermometer near Earth’s surface during a period of freezing rain?
frosja888 [35]
Freezing rain refers to the rain that falls through a shallow layer of cold temperature at zero degree Celsius or below zero degree Celsius near the earth surface. Celsius and Fahrenheit are two types of measurement that are used to measure temperature. The freezing temperature of water is zero degree Celsius. Zero degree Celsius is the same thing as 32 degree Fahrenheit.
Thus, the thermometer reading that is expected from a thermometer near the earth's surface during a period of freezing rain is 32 degree Fahrenheit.

Although animals CANNOT digest cellulose directly, some animals have a symbiotic relationship with ________ living in the small
Lesechka [4]

Answer: microorganisms

Explanation: No animal has the ability to digest cellulose directly.

Most animals such as horses and termites cannot directly digest cellulose. The animals have a symbiotic relationship with bacteria in the intestinal tract. The symbiotic bacteria acts on the cellulose and secrets the necessary enzymes (cellulase) to digest cellulose in the intestinal tract. An example of such microorganism in a symbiotic relationship with animals that facilitates the digestion of cellulose is Trichonympha
