The correct answer is the last option.

Since the coach is studying the two different groups, the results will be more meaningful if the groups are compared to one another as opposed to the players. It would also make more sense to study the mean (or average) of the points scored, rather than the standard deviation (which is essentially a measure of how spread out a set of numbers are).

leah cut a 7 1/2 inch piece of ribbon into pieces that are each 3/4 of an inch long. how many pieces of ribbon did she cut
GaryK [48]
The answer is 10, this is because 7 1/2 = 7.5 3/4=.75 and if there is 7.5 inches of ribbon, but cut into .75 pieces you would divide 7.5 by .75 which equals 10.

Maggie is making a necklace using 13 inch string and identical beads. Maggie has placed 15 beads next to each other starting on
muminat
I think you would go like this: If 15 covers 5 inches then I know I am going to need at least 30 but I have 3 more spaces so I have to divide 5/15 (That is 15 divided by 5) The answer is 3 so I have to go 3 x 3 which is 9 and then I add
9 to 30 which is 39 so there is my answer. If I did it incorrect please tell me. :). I hope it helps.
