The distance formula:
d= \sqrt{ (x_{2} - x_{1}) ^{2}+ (y_{2}  -y_{1}) ^{2} }

A(1,1)    B(7,-7)

d= \sqrt{ (7 - 1) ^{2}+ (-7  -1) ^{2} }

d= \sqrt{ (6) ^{2}+ (-8) ^{2} }

d= \sqrt{ 36 + 64 }

d= \sqrt{ 100 }

d=10

The answer is 10

Jet001 [13]
The slope formula is

=2−1/2−1

For the first one it would be:

-17-(-18)/0-(-13)=1/13

m=1/13

Second one:

m=−16−−9/−17−−18= -7/1

m=-7

For the there one:

Slope =−12−−13/6−−1=1/7

m=1/7

While sitting in class, Ellen uses 1.33 calories per minute. How many calories does she use during a 45-minute math class?
iragen [17]

Answer:

59.85

Step-by-step explanation:

So if each minute she uses 1.33 calories, you have to multiply it by 45. 45 times 1.33 is 59.85 so there you go. Ellen uses 59.85 calories during a 45-minute class.

Is 3.3 rational or irrational? need to know now plsssss.
Verizon [17]

3.3 is rational. The decimal doesn't recur, meaning it doesn't go on forever.

3.3 with a dot above the decimal place is recurring, because the dot means that number goes on forever

Hope I helped!
