More specifically, it means that a planet is SOLID, like the Earth is. So, to figure out the answer to your question, let's list the planets starting with the ones closest to the sun and work out way out toward deep space. Mercury - Closest to the Sun and, because of that, its very hot here. A lot of the ground on this planet is lava made of molten metal which is a liquid BUT there is also solid ground so it is terresterial. ✓
