An inequality is a statement that shows relation between two values, when the two values are not equal.
The inequality is opposite than equality.
So, the interval (5,100] means that it contains all number from number 5 (not and 5) till 100, including 100. We can see this from the bracket's type.
For a value x in this interval we can write the inequality:
5<x<=100
x is bigger than 5 , and smaller or equal 100

What is the mean, median, mode, and range from this data?
Zinaida [17]

Answer: The mean is 4, median is 4, no mode, range is 4

Step-by-step explanation:

mode is adding all the numbers and subtracting by the total amount of whole numbers

median is putting the numbers in a line ex.( 2, 6, 4, 5, 3) and crossing out left to right until theres one number left

mode is which ever number is repeated the most

range is the biggest number subtracted by the smallest number

(39 points PLZ HELP)Find the sum of a finite geometric series. A ball is dropped from a height of 10 meters. Each time it bounce
erastovalidia [21]

So we need to find the sum of the first 5 terms.

You have told me that the first term is 10 meters, and that r = 0.5 per term.

With this knowledge, we can use the formula s_n=a₁((1-r^n)/(1-r)).

Plugging in the terms that we know...

s₅=10((1-0.5⁵)/(1-0.5))

s₅=10(0.96875/0.5)

s₅=10(1.9375)

s₅=19.375

With s₅, we can determine that the ball has traveled a total of 19.375 meters after 5 bounces.

haru rides his bike from his home for 30 minutes at a fast pace. He stops to rest for 20 minutes, and then continues riding in t

Using the given information and what we know about linear equations, we will find the sketch below.

How to sketch a graph?

Here we need to analyze each part separately.

In a coordinate axis where the y-axis represents distance and the x-axis represents time, we will have that:

First, we know that he rides for 30 minutes at a given speed, this will be represented with an increasing linear function.

Then he stops for 20 minutes, this is represented with a horizontal line.

Finally, he returns the motion, but slower than before, so the slope of this line will be smaller than the first one.

So for 0 to 30 we have an increasing linear equation, then for 30 to 50 we have a constant horizontal line, then for 50 to 80 we have another increasing linear equation

The sketch can be seen below.
