Angie wants to hang a family portrait in her living room. The portrait is 8 inches ×10 inches. Angie puts the picture in a frame that adds 1inch to each side of picture. What is the new area of picture in its frame

I think it would be 10x12. Because ur basically adding 2 inches to the width. And two inches to the length cuz of the 4 sides of the frame. So in the end the area would be 120 inches squared
