Prejudice means forming a negative or biased opinion about a person or group of people, without enough information and before properly knowing them.
According to results of various research works, <u>most psychologists and sociologists agree that prejudice is not an innate human characteristic (i.e people are not born prejudiced)</u>. Rather, they learn to be prejudiced from other people, events and circumstances in their environment.
A direct democracy is a democracy where the decisions are not taken by representatives. All decisions are voted on by the people. When a budget or law needs to be passed, then the idea goes to the people.
