The problem consists in changing a fraction to percent form, a percent is a quantity divided by 100, for example, 50% is equal to 50/100, so lets modify the fraction for it to have 100 as denominator. so we divide the numerator and denominator by the same number so the fraction does not alterate, keeps being equivalent that is: 2/300 we need to divide the numerator and denominator by 3: <span>2/300 = (2/3)/(300/3) </span>= (2/3)/100 now we have it, 2/300 as percent is (2/3)% = 0.67%
