Correct Answer: Option a. 6150.64 N

Weight (w) is defined as:

w = mg

So, first we need to find the mass (m) of the steel block using its volume and density.

Mass = Density x Volume
So,
m = 0.08 x 7840 = 627.2 g

Using value of m and g = 9.807, we get

w = 627.2 x 9.807 = 6150.95 Newtons

Therefore, option a is the correct answer.
The slight difference is because the value of g is rounded of to 3 decimal cases.

If you eat 3.00 moles of sugar, how many molecules did you consume?
ratelena [41]
According to Avogadro's law 1 mole of a substance contains 6.022×10^23 particles.
Thus, 1 mole of sugar contains 6.022×10^23 molecules
Hence, 3 moles of sugars will contains;
 = 3 ×6.022 ×10^23 molecules
= 18.066 ×10^23 molecules
≈ 18.1 ×10^23 molecules

A molecule of butane and a molecule of 2-butene both have the same total number of
Vinvika [58]
The correct answer is option 1. Butane and 2-butene have the same total number of carbon atoms. They both have four carbon atoms. They differ in there structure since the latter has double bonds on it. As a result of the different structure, they also have different properties.

The bond angles marked a, b, and c in the molecule below are about __________, __________, and __________, respectively. Select
scoundrel [369]

Answer:

109.5°, 120°, 109.5°

Explanation:

The bond angles that are marked as a, b and c in the given molecules is in the order of :

Angle a : 109.5°

Nitrogen is $sp^3$ hybridized and the geometry is tetrahedral. So the bond angle is 109.5°

Angle b : 120°

Carbon is $sp^2$ hybridized, so the shape is trigonal planer and the bond angle is 120°

Angle c : 109.5°

Carbon is $sp^3$ hybridized and the geometry is tetrahedral. The bond angle is 109.5°
