The law of conservation of mass states that mass can neither be created nor destroyed. In a chemical reaction, the mass of reactant and the product are same, this show a balanced equation.

What is the law of conservation of mass?

Law of conservation of mass says that in a closed system, the mass and energy is always remained same after the reaction happen. For example, if a wood is burned, the ash and the air will equal the mass of the wood.

Thus, the law of conservation of mass states that mass can neither be created nor destroyed. In a chemical reaction, the mass of reactant and the product are same, this show a balanced equation.
