The measure of first angle is 65 degrees and measure of second angle is 130 degrees

<em><u>Solution:</u></em>

Let "x" be the number

<em><u>The measure of one angle is eleven more than four times a number</u></em>

Measure of first angle = 11 + 4(x)

Measure of first angle = 11 + 4x

<em><u>Another angle is twice the first angle’s measure</u></em>

Measure of second angle = twice the measure of first angle

Measure of second angle = 2(11 + 4x)

<em><u>The sum of the measures of the angles is 195 degrees</u></em>

Measure of first angle + Measure of second angle = 195

11 + 4x + 2(11 + 4x) = 195

11 + 4x + 22 + 8x = 195

12x + 33 = 195

12x = 195 - 33

12x = 162

x = 13.5

<em><u>Thus, measures of each angle are:</u></em>

Measure of first angle = 11 + 4x = 11 + 4(13.5) = 11 + 54 = 65

Measure of second angle = 2(11 + 4x) = 2(11 + 4(13.5)) = 130

Thus measure of first angle is 65 degrees and measure of second angle is 130 degrees

How do I find the value of x
IgorC [24]

Answer:

<u><em>The value of x is 2.6</em></u>

Step-by-step explanation:

<em>Use pythagorean theorem</em>

a^2+b^2=c^2

<em>Then substitute</em>

1^2+2.4^2=c^2

<em>Then evaluate</em>

1+5.76=c^2

<em>Add</em>

c^2=6.76

<em>Isolate c by finding the sqrt of 6.76</em>

c=2.6

givi [52]

Answer:

60%

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

the price per share of a stock decreased from $90 per share to $36 per share

In this problem

$90 represent the 100%

so

using proportion

Find out what percentage represent the difference of ($90-$36)

($90-$36)=$54

Let

x ----> the percentage of the difference

\frac{100\%}{\$90}=\frac{x}{\$54}\\\\x=54(100)/90\\\\x=60\%
