3/5(20/20)= 60/100

1/4(25/25)= 25/100

60/100-25/100= 35/100

35/100 divided by 5/5= 7/20

The answers is 7/20.

Hope this helps!

Write a linear Write a linear function f with f(−9)=10 and f(−1)=−2.function f with f(−9)=10 and f(−1)=−2.
MissTica

The point-slope form:

y-y_1=m(x-x_1)\\\\m=\dfrac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}

We have

f(-9) = 10 → (-9, 10)

f(-1) = -2 → (-1, -2)

Substitute:

m=\dfrac{-2-10}{-1-(-9)}=\dfrac{-12}{8}=-\dfrac{3}{2}=-1.5\\\\y-10=-1.5(x-(-9))\\\\y-10=-1.5(x+9)\qquad|\text{use distributive property}\\\\y-10=-1.5x-13.5\qquad|+10\\\\y=-1.5x-3.5

<h3>Answer: f(x) = -1.5x - 3.5</h3>

choli [55]

Answer:

[$489.83, $883.67]

Step-by-step explanation:

The 98% confidence interval is given by the interval

\bf  [\bar x-t\frac{s}{\sqrt n}, \bar x+t\frac{s}{\sqrt n}]

where

\bf  \bar x=686.75 is the sample mean

s = 256.20 is the sample standard deviation

n = 15 is the sample size

t is the 2% critical value for the Student's t-distribution with 14 degrees of freedom (sample size -1), this is a value such that the area under the Student's t curve outside the interval [-t, t] is 2%=0.02.

We are using the t-distribution for it is the approximation to the Normal distribution for small samples (n<30).

Either by using a table or the computer, we find

t = 2.9768

In Excel we use the function

<em>TINV(0.01,14) </em>

In OpenOffice Calc

<em>TINV(0.01;14) </em>

and our 98% confidence interval is

\bf  [686.75-2.9768*\frac{256.20}{\sqrt{15}}, 686.75+2.9768*\frac{256.20}{\sqrt{15}}]=\boxed{[\$489.83,\$883.67]}

B and C trisect AD and M is the midpoint of AD. MC=8. How many units are in the length of AD?
sineoko [7]

Answer:

48

Step-by-step explanation:

B and C trisrct AD so

that means that

AB=BC=CD

M is the midpoint so AM =MD

M is also the midpoint of BC also so if MC equal 8 l, BM equal 8. We add 8 and 8 together to find the value of BC which equal 16. Since BC equal 16 and it trisects AD, AB equal 16 and CD equal 16. Add all together and we get 16+16+16=16×3=48
