What does "one cannot justify war unless each side flaunts its own blind conviction." mean?
Anettt [7]
This means that there is no reason to go to war unless both sides of the argument are unable to see and understand what the other side is trying to justify. Having a conviction in a cause or a belief without looking at the other side of the coin and trying to understand what might be seen as an uncomfortable viewpoint is what often leads to skirmishes and wars.

Why would legislators most likely ask interest groups to help shape public policy?
BartSMP [9]

The correct answer is D) because interest groups demand that they are heard on certain issues.

Legislators most likely ask interest groups to help shape public policy because interest groups demand that they are heard on certain issues.

There are many interest groups in the United States that represent a considerable amount of citizens and have enough power to put some pressure on Congressmen to create legislation that could favor their interests. Many times, interest groups hire lobbyists to negotiate with legislators. Among the many interest groups in the United States, we can name the US Chamber of Commerce, the Sierra Club, or the National Association of Manufacturers.

MArishka [77]
Well, first off that's gross.
The recessive gene showed up more in the royalty because if a close relative such as a first cousin would carry the same genetics as the spouse, because likely the grandfather or grandmother had the disease. The commoners would not do that because they are marrying in the family.
