On April 15, 1912 sanked beneath the North Atlantic waves, witch took 1,517 women, men and children to the bottom of the ocean with her, including some of the most famous names of all times .

The United State (US)  is the third largest country in the world by area which encompasses an area of 9.8 million square, divided in 48 contiguous states,  two non-contiguous states of Hawaii and Alaska and  the capital's federal district.

Along with this partition, the US Census Bureau divided the US into<em> four regions</em> in order to collect statistical data easier.  

Such regions are: West, Midwest, South and Northeast.

West: It is divided into two major divisions; the Mountains and the  Pacific.  

Midwest: It is subdivided into two divisions; West North Central and East North Central.

South; It includes the divisions ; West South Central  East South Central  and South atlanctic.  

Northwest: It is divided into two divisions; Middle Atlantic and new England.
