The part of nervous system that has to be simulated to suppress appetite is the hypothalamus which is a part of brain.

Explanation:

Brain is an important part of the nervous system. It is a part of central nervous system. Hypothalamus performs the function of regulating hunger.

It contains nerve cells that cause the sensation of hunger when activated. This is achieved by the production of proteins called NPY and AGRP.

Quite close to these nerve cells there lies a different set of nerve cells which inhibits hunger by producing proteins called Cocaine and Amphetamine Regulated Transcript(CART) and Melanocyte Simulating Hormone(MSH).
