What are the three types of muscle fibers? A)smooth, intermediate-twitch, cardiac B)slow-twitch, intermediate-twitch, fast-twitc
masha68 [24]
The answer is B. There are 3 types of muscle fibers: slow twitch, fast twitch oxidative (fast twitch), and fast twitch glycolytic (intermediate twitch). Answer A is incorrect because smooth and cardiac are actually muscle tissues, not fibers. Answer C is incorrect because involuntary is not a fiber at all. It’s a form of reflex that you can’t control which means it’s not a fiber.

Suppose that in a lab you could remove all the oxygen from a terrarium. What would happen to the plants? Why?
Jlenok [28]
The plants would ultimately die.
Although the plants won't need oxygen to make photosynthesis occur, it would be unable to perform cellular respiration. They will be unable to respire and produce the product of cellular respiration which is CO2 + H2O + Energy. These are necessary reactants for photosynthesis. Eventually, photosynthesis will consume more CO2 than it produces with cellular respiration. They won't have a sufficient food source and eventually die off.
