A flower bed is in the shape of a triangle, with a base of 15 feet and a height of 9 feet. What is the area of the flower bed?

Okay so the formula for this is going to be 1/2*base*height. The * means multiply.

so to do it easily lets start with the whole numbers.
15*9=135
so we take that and divide it by two because that it the same as multiplying by 1/2
135/2=The area will be 67.5!!!
