First one, subsitute x=-1 for x

y=(x)^2-3(x)+12
y=(-1)^2-3(-1)+12
y=1+3+12
y=16
so one solution is (-1,16)

2nd one, subsitute 2 for x

y=(x)^2-3(x)+12
y=(2)^2-3(2)+12
y=4-6+12
y=10
the second soltuion is (2,10)

so one solution is (-1,16)
the second solution is (2,10)
