Answer:

A

Step-by-step explanation:

Recall that for a function to be valid, each input value of x must give us one and only one unique output  value for y.

in this case we can see that one of the data sets is (3,-1)

which means that an input of 3 gave an output of -1

but we also see that another data set (3,1)

in this case an input of 3 gave an output of 1.

Because the same x input gives 2 different y outputs, this is not a function.

the answer is A

Above is a partial sum chart that will help us in our quest.

P(Grade 9 | opposed)
The probability of Grade 9, given opposed, is the portion of opposed students that are in grade 9.
Total number opposed: 33
Number opposed in Grade 9: 2
P(Grade 9 | opposed) = 2 / 33 = 0.06

P(opposed | Grade 9)
Total Number Grade 9: 14
Number opposed in Grade 9: 2
P(opposed | Grade 9) = 2 / 14 = 0.14

Two perpendicular lines intersect at the origin if the slope of the first line is 3,what is the equation of the second line
ddd [48]

· Perpendicular lines have slopes that are opposite reciprocals of each other

· Slope-intercept form is y = mx + b, where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept

If the slope of the first line is 3, the slope of the second line is -1/3. Since the lines intersect at the origin, neither of them have a y-intercept.

Answer:

C) y = -1/3x
