Indirect relationship or also referred as indirect correlation means that two variables change in opposite directions. If variable A and variable B have an indirect relationship, that mean that large values of the variable A are associated with small values of variable B. So, if variable A decreases that variable B will increase.

A flywheel with a radius of 0.300 m starts from rest and accelerates with a constant angular acceleration of 0.600 rad/s2. Compu
boyakko [2]

Answer:

0.42 m/s²

Explanation:

r = radius of the flywheel = 0.300 m

w₀ = initial angular speed = 0 rad/s

w = final angular speed = ?

θ = angular displacement = 60 deg = 1.05 rad

α = angular acceleration = 0.6 rad/s²

Using the equation

w² = w₀² + 2 α θ

w² = 0² + 2 (0.6) (1.05)

w = 1.12 rad/s

Tangential acceleration is given as

a_{t} = r α = (0.300) (0.6) = 0.18 m/s²

Radial acceleration is given as

a_{r} = r w² = (0.300) (1.12)² = 0.38 m/s²

Magnitude of resultant acceleration is given as

a = \sqrt{a_{t}^{2} + a_{r}^{2}}

a = \sqrt{0.18^{2} + 0.38^{2}}

a = 0.42 m/s²

An object has a mass of 60 kg. It decelerates from 50 m/s to 20 m/s when a resultant force of 300 N acts on it. For how long doe
Pavlova-9 [17]
  • Force=300N
  • Mass=60kg

Find Acceleration

\\ \rm\longmapsto F=ma

\\ \rm\longmapsto a=\dfrac{F}{m}

\\ \rm\longmapsto a=\dfrac{-300}{60}

\\ \rm\longmapsto a=-5m/s^2

Now

  • u=50m/s
  • v=20m/s

Using 1st equation of kinematics

\\ \rm\longmapsto v=u+at

\\ \rm\longmapsto t=\dfrac{v-u}{a}

\\ \rm\longmapsto t=\dfrac{20-50}{-5}

\\ \rm\longmapsto t=\dfrac{-30}{-5}

\\ \rm\longmapsto t=6

1. Which statement about friction is true?(1 point) A. Static friction and kinetic friction in a system always act in the same d
ArbitrLikvidat [17]

Answer:

true 1Ay 2D

Explanation:

1) In this exercise you are asked to investigate which statements are true

A) True. The friction force opposes the movement caused by the external force,

B) False. Mantuano in the opposite direction force

C) False. The static and scientific friction force act in the same direction, since the second appears when the movement does not start and the static friction decreases.

D) Fale the static and kinetic friction forces act in the same direction

2) How to overcome friction on a ramp

A) False. If the texture of the surface becomes rough, the friction force increases

B) False. Pressing the brick against the surface increases the normal and as the friction is proportional to the normal, it also increases

C) False. By lowering the table the weight component in the friction direction decreases

D) True. When lifting the board, the weight component increases and therefore can become greater than the friction

           W sin tea - my mg cos tea = m a

As it increases, the sine increases and the cosine decreases.

The change in the momentum of an object is represented by the following formula:
Ede4ka [16]

Hi there!

Recall that:

Change in momentum = mass × change in velocity

Or:

Δp = mΔv = m(vf - vi)

Plug in the given values. We can assign east to be positive and west to be negative in this instance (Velocity is a vector with direction).

Thus:

Δp = (1)(-21 - 10) = -31 kgm/s OR 31 kgm/s WEST.

The correct answer is B.

Change in momentum is EQUIVALENT to the quantity of IMPULSE.

The correct answer is H.
