7 2/5 + 2 1/2 = 9 9/10

You'd just times the denominators to a common number which would be 10 and the the numerator would be added together as 6 and 3. Then you end up with 9 9/10 as a mixed number

Need help like right now.
denpristay [2]

Let's go:

Big triangle:

12 + 3x - 6 = 3x + 6

10 + 8 = 18

\frac{10}{18} = \frac{3x - 6}{3x + 6} \\\\ 10.(3x + 6) = 18.(3x - 6) \\\ 30x + 60 = 54x - 108 \\\ 54x - 30x = 60 + 108 \\\ 24x = 168 \\\ x = 7

I hope I helped you.

Which of the following pairs of functions are inverses of each other?
aleksley [76]

Answer:

B. f(x) = 5(x/4) - 3 and g(x) = [4(x + 3)]/5

Step-by-step explanation:

In the figure attached, the question is shown (the order of the options are different).

To find the inverse of a function, first, replace x with g(x) and f(x) with x, as follows:

f(x) = 5(x/4) - 3

x = 5(g(x)/4) - 3

Next, isolate g(x), as follows:

x + 3 = 5(g(x)/4)

4(x + 3) = 5g(x)

[4(x + 3)]/5 = g(x)

A spiral tile has a width of 1/4 foot how many tiles will fit end to end on a 4 foot wall
Lena [83]

16 tiles will fit end to end on a 4 foot wall.

In unitary method we will learn how to find the value of a unit from the value of a multiple and the value of a multiple from the value of a unit.

When we go to the market to buy any article, we ask the shopkeeper to tell the price of the article. This is called unit price. We calculate the price of number of articles, we want to buy, with the help of this unit price. Sometimes, we calculate unit price when the price of a multiple is given.

1 tile in 1/4 foot

So in 4 foot wall the number of tiles = 4/(1/4) = 16 tiles.

Thus 16 tiles will fit end to end on a 4 foot wall.
