1/3 x - 1/2 = 18 1/2
1/3 x = 19 (add 1/2 on the right side to 18 1/2)
x = 57 (multiply the reciprocal of 1/3 and that will be 3/1 or 3 to 19 to get x by itself)
So, the answer is x = 57 (d. 57)

BaLLatris [955]

Answer:

Scalene triangle as there are no sides given.

or,

Measure it using a ruler and classify it based on the result.

Step-by-step explanation:

Scalene triangle = No sides are equal.

Isosceles triangle = 2 sides equal.

Equilateral triangle = All sides equal.

Right angled triangle = One angle is 90.

Since, the picture hasn't given any sides, i am gonna say it's a scalene triangle.

If, the triangle is for measure, measure it using a ruler and classify it based on the result.

Please help me with 13 and 15 asap
Law Incorporation [45]
Gosh, I've done this problem before. Let's start with 13. In this problem, we're basically just skip counting. For example, in the roses row, in the second bouquet, we know we have to add 4 more flowers, so we can document 8. Continue to skip count for both. For 15, we would have about 96 more movie posters remaining, making our ratio 96:x. So, 96:x = 120:100. Therefore, x would equal 80- as 96:80 equals 120:100. If she needs 80 and already had 100, she should sell 20 posters. Hope this helped.

A 12-foot ladder leans against the wall; the base of the ladder is 2 feet away from the wall.To the nearest tenth of a foot, how
ludmilkaskok [199]
<h3>The ladder will reach a height of 11.8 feet up the wall</h3>

<em><u>Solution:</u></em>

The ladder, wall and base of the ladder from wall forms a right angled triangle

Length of ladder forms the hypotenuse

Length of ladder = 12 foot

base of the ladder from wall = 2 feet

<em><u>To find: height of wall</u></em>

By pythagoras theorem.

c^2 = a^2+b^2

Where,

"c" is the Length of ladder

"a" is the base of the ladder from wall

"b" is the height of wall

Substituting the values,

12^2 = 2^2+b^2\\\\144 = 4 + b^2\\\\b^2 = 140\\\\b = \pm 11.832 \\\\Ignore\ negative\ value\\\\b \approx 11.8

Thus, the ladder will reach a height of 11.8 feet on wall
