Explanation:th and

In the United States, during the 18th and 19th century, yeoman farmers were identified as small landowning, non-slaveholding, family groups that settled mainly in the Southern area of the country, in poor and cheap lands. Although not rich, they were the owners of the land they lived as the chose forest areas that they cleared themselves in order to settle their crops and houses. Yeoman farmers relied on working their land for food, clothing, and other products, but they always had relative smaller plantations compared to other farmers of the area. In the average yeoman farm there would be around 8 people living, and everyone including women and children would have a duty in order to help run the farm, as they did not want to rely on any exterior player.
