A vacuole is an organelle found in all plant cells and some animal and bacterial cells. They are filled with water. Large vacuoles are formed by the fusion of multiple vesicles. Plants usually have one large vacuole occupying 30-80% of the cell while in some animal cells small and numerous vacuoles can be found. Large vacuoles in plants have an important role in containing water and waste products, maintaining turgor within the cell, supporting different structures (leaves, flowers, etc.), maintaining internal pH, etc.

Before mitosis begins, what happens during S-phase?
Blababa [14]
A
Before meiosis begins, during S phase of the cell cycle, the DNA of each chromosome is replicated so that it consists of two identical sister chromatids, which remain held together through sister chromatid cohesion. This S-phase can be referred to as "premeiotic S-phase" or "meiotic S-phase".

Cell membrane is important for microorganism because of it separate things outside cells and inside cells. This way, the cell can keep electrolyte and other useful things like carbohydrate and proteins. The cells also dump toxins and dangerous chemical that it produce outside the membrane so it won't damage organs inside the cells.

Explain crop modifications in your own words.
fomenos
Crop modification is when the DNA of a plant is altered, commonly used to make them more desirable. For example, bananas weren’t always these long and seedless fruits but with crop modification, over time scientists were able to change the DNA of the banana we know today.
