Remember
log_{b}m^{n}=nlog_{b}m

1/4log_{5}81=log_{5}81^{1/4}=log_{5}3
1/2log_{5}64=log_{5}64^{1/2}=log_{5}8

we now have
log_{5}n=log_{5}3+log_{5}8
remember
log_{b}m+log_{b}n= log_{b}(mn) so
log_{5}3+log_{5}8= log_{5}(3*8)=log_{5}24
log_{5}n=log_{5}24
therefor n=24

Help me find #18 AND #19 PLEASEEE THANK YOUUUUU
Ne4ueva [31]

Answer:

see explanation

Step-by-step explanation:

(18)

Since BD is an angle bisector , then

∠ DBC = ∠ ABD = 57°

∠ ABC = ∠ ABD + ∠ DBC = 57° + 57° = 114°

(19)

Since BD is an angle bisector , then ∠ ABD = ∠DBC

∠ ABC = 110° , so

∠ ABD = ∠ DBC = 110° ÷ 2 = 55°

Solve the equation x^2+17x+12=-3x^2 to the nearest tenth.
mote1985 [20]

Answer:

x=-\frac{17}{8}+\frac{\sqrt{97} }{8} or x=-\frac{17}{8}-\frac{\sqrt{97} }{8}

Step-by-step explanation:

x^2+17x+12=-3x^2

Add 3x^2 on both sides.

x^2+17x+12+3x^2=-3x^2+3x^2

x^2+17x+12+3x^2=0

Combine like terms;

4x^2+17x+12=0

Use the quadratic formula;

a=4

b=17

c=12

x=\frac{-b\frac{+}{}\sqrt{b^2-4ac}  }{2a}

x=\frac{-(17)\frac{+}{}\sqrt{(17)^2-4(4)(12)}  }{2(4)}

x=\frac{-17\frac{+}{}\sqrt{289-192}  }{8}

x=\frac{-17\frac{+}{}\sqrt{97}  }{8}

x=-\frac{17}{8}+\frac{\sqrt{97} }{8} or x=-\frac{17}{8}-\frac{\sqrt{97} }{8}
