Explain why your weight in pounds is much lighter on the moon but your mass is the same? (Gravitational force on the moon is 1.6
schepotkina [342]

there's a mistake in the question, weight isn't measured in pounds its measured in newtons, mass is measured in pounds

im going to assume ur asking why our weight is different on the moon and earth, and why the mass remains the same

weight is how many newtons of gravity is acting on you. the gravitational field strength on earth and moon are very different. on earth its 9.8N and on the moon its 1.6N. Because the force of gravity is weaker on the moon, you weigh less.

In Type I diabetes, the body fails to produce insulin and, thus, individuals must inject themselves with insulin before eating.
Annette [7]

Explanation:

Excess insulin in the bloodstream causes cells in your body to absorb too much glucose (sugar) from your blood. It also causes the liver to release less glucose. These two effects together create dangerously low glucose levels in your blood. This condition is called hypoglycemia
